Datsun’s Z sports car was wildly popular in the early 1970s. The 1974 model year saw a name change from 240Z to 260Z owing to an increase in engine displacement. The Z underwent other changes as well. The car was offered as the two-seat 260Z and the 260Z 2+2, which had a vestigial rear seat.
